Stone Monolith Memories

Stone Monolith Memories

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Thinking, then over-thinking

"

Sitting here thinking, which is never good,

At least for me; now, thinking's

Fine, in general, but not when you become

Fixated on the negative; then, it becomes

Thinking about problems I can't do a damn bit

Of anything about; they're set in stone,

Yet try to change them I must

Over and again, hour after hour,

As if the mere act of reliving them

Will magically alter their outcome;

Smacking myself in the face; why;

To punish myself?

We cannot change the past Mikey but we can do something about the future .I think about things sometimes until they begin to overwhelm me .I sadly think too much :)

Well, personally, I can't speak as to why they happen to good people, but to me? I don't know; lol!

Hahahaha That was funny Mikey lol
No, you absolutely can't change the past. The moving finger writes, ect. ect. There are so many things in my past I would alter if I could. Yet altering them might make a very bad difference. Who knows?
