Stone Monolith MemoriesA Poem by Michael StevensThinking, then over-thinking
Sitting here thinking, which is
never good,
At least for me; now, thinking's
Fine, in general, but not when you
become
Fixated on the negative; then, it
becomes
Thinking about problems I can't do
a damn bit
Of anything about; they're set in
stone,
Yet try to change them I must
Over and again, hour after hour,
As if the mere act of reliving them
Will magically alter their outcome;
Smacking myself in the face; why; To punish myself? © 2014 Michael StevensReviews
