Actually, and unfortunately for me, and anyone unfortunate to be within 2-5 miles of the sound of my voice, I'm not exaggerating much. I used to be the singer for a heavy metal band, and I always was uncomfortable in front of people, so I quit, figuring I'd always be able to record only. But reality had a different plan for me. It said, "Hey, how about I cause a woman to turn right in front of him, leaving him NO chance to swerve?" So 13 days later, when I came out of the coma, I could no longer talk normally, or walk normally either, which put one hell of a damper on me being able to do my job, which was letter carrier. So, I'm medically retired from the USPS. I guess I'm lucky, because the doctors told my then-wife I'd more than likely never wake up, and even if I did, I'd be a mumbling idiot. Well, the jury's still out on that, but I managed to wake up. So you see, you DON'T want to heart me sing!

I tend to put myself down a lot, because it's easier and more polite than putting others down, and usually good for a laugh; ha, ha; see?
