Blue Label Christmas

Blue Label Christmas

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Alternate Elvis lyrics!

"

I'll have a blue label Christmas and party

I'd have some gold label, but I can't afford it, oh, oh poor me!

Here I am alone in this festive single wide

I tell myself I'll quit my job soon, what a fricking lie!

And when the bottle with that blue label starts sloshing

I'll open another; about hammer time, I ain't joshing

I'll be too bombed to fail, and with no sign of tail

With the level below the label; I think I'm going to rail

Yeah, I may be all alone, but I'm well on my way to stoned

Cause I've got this blue, blue, blue, blue label

Well, there are all sorts of ways of celebrating Christmas. Elvis was certainly one to party...
