Flip the remote's power to "on', sit back, and RE-LAX!

     Once again, the media coverage by most cable news networks is nauseating for those of us Americans who live, not just to the west of the Mississippi River, but anywhere outside of a roughly 100 mile radius of New York City.  The president has many important issues to tackle overseas, so I tuned in to CNN to find out important world news, but what did I see instead?  How much living close to New York City had better hunker down and be prepared to live like prehistoric man, because more snow was predicted to fall soon that all the snow that has fallen in recorded history!   All of them were doing the same thing, hell, even Fox News took a break from ranking on the president, so you know it's important news for that to happen!  I had to turn to BBC America to hear any mention of the president's visit.  Don't get me wrong, I feel a little sorry for the people the snow storm might affect, but come on!  And the media over hyping something to get high ratings?  I DON'T BELIEVE IT!  It occurred to me that we're getting ripped off by the news networks, who are too busy trying to frighten us about possibilities than to cover things that actually are!
