     Good God!  I was watching Hillary Clinton's press conference in which she wanted to clarify the e-mail controversy (according to the press), when I had proof positive about my theory that the press today is nothing more than a pack of Idiot Land Sharks.  Hillary just got through saying it was probably a mistake on her part to use her private e-mail account for government business, when the first, or one of the first, questions out of a reporter's mouth was,

 

    "Do you now see it as a mistake to have used your private e-mail account?"

 

     Hello!  I don't even know why she even bothered with the statement at all; she should have opened it up for questions immediately.  After all, it took the reporters an average of 15-30 seconds to think of, and then transcribe them to paper.  Besides, they were much too distracted trying to figure out ways to trip her up to actually listen to her statement.  The only thing that press conference accomplished was pointing out how moronic and shallow The Idiot Land Sharks are.  Frankly, it was an embarrassment to behold!

there are those who will never fault Hillary Clinton for anything .. (my sister included;) .. talking politics requires staying the facts of things .. the Secretary of State does not have the prerogative of what is saved, sent or deleted ... our freedom of information laws .. our federal safeguards for internet communications demands that our officials conform so as not to deceive .. hide .. and manipulate the most balanced system of governing in the world .. outrage from all spectrum of opinion seems appropriate to me .. what more will Americans give up in the name of ??????????

I'm not saying she didn't or did, but the complete idiocy of the media was what I was trying to point out; it was obvious they were going to ask their questions regardless of what she said, almost like maniacal robots. I have my issues with Hillary also; she's not liberal enough for my tastes, but that's just my personal view. This was all about our media, or more specifically, our lack of one. What we have now is more Access Hollywood than Walter Cronkite Presents.

I totally agree; my mom has a Republican friend who will only get her 'facts' from Fox News. I think watching several news shows is the only way you MAY get the truth. To me, it's sad that it's left up to the individual to reach a consensus on what is true, and people like my mom's friend who get their news from one source aren't ever going to admit to themselves or be patient enough to believe that this has to be done. Each news channel is pushing an agenda, with the truth quite a ways down the list of important things. I'm a liberal, but I think MSNBC's rhetoric is just as dangerous as Fox. Whether from the left or the right; slanting the news to fit your particular agenda (which is all about making money) is dangerous either way.
