Where I LiveA Poem by Michael StevensMy home town
I live in a world where nothing can
hurt me
I live in a place where all is
possible
A world where the sun shines around the clock
Where I'm the hero who saves the
day,
A place I see myself in a better
light,
Where I get the girl and ride into
the sunset,
And know all the answers, where I
never hesitate
A place where I never make
mistakes,
And always know just what to say
There, I'm more interesting than
The Most
Interesting Man in the World
If you come to visit me, hang a
left just past Reality Street,
Then veer right until you see,
"Welcome to Dream Land'
Mine is the house with 2.5 kids
playing in the yard!
