Empty Head Wasteland

Empty Head Wasteland

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Making nothing from nothing!

"

Spinning a tale out of thin air and caffeine

Other people have no ideas and so back away,

But not me, oh no, I plow straight ahead

Linking together nothings, carefully crafting emptiness

That'll leave the reader going, 'What the hell was that I just read?'

Let this poem be exhibit A!

Hi Michael. What do we do when our muse gets all mischievous and cheeky? We react. Love this bit of nothingness!!!

It's better to write anything than sit and write nothing. Eventually the nothingness will take over...

I agree totally Marie!
This is somehow witty! Sure made me grin, and if you can bring grins out of nothing then I wonder what you could do out of something. A lovely little poem that makes the reader crave for exhibit B and C and D and beyond.

I write for fun; I write comedy pieces and some dramatic stuff. I have no formal writing education, and I have a fear of being told I suck, and maybe I should give up on writing, and get a job makin.. more..
