Dear Winifred, I am a 35 year old woman who really wanted a promotion at work, but was passed over, I think, simply because I'm a woman, in favor of a man with next to no experience. It's 'The Good Old Boys Club' and I can never be a member. How would you suggest I move on and stay at my current job knowing what they think of me? Signed Frustrated

 

Dear Frustrated, you can keep fooling yourself by telling yourself you were passed over because you're a woman, but I suspect it has more to do with the fact you're a perpetual whiner, at least judging by your woe-is-me-I'm-held-back-because-of-my-sex bullshit. Oh, I have no doubt you're held back because of your sex alright, you sound mentally frigid--Winifred

It's true, cable news is a great source of (unintentional) humor--it's either laugh, or cry, it really is asinine--aimed at the most idiotic!

You reminded me of how much I'm disgusted with cable news, so I've posted a new Dear Winifred in honor of remembering!

Jobs are too hard to find these days to leave simply because you didn't get the promotion you hoped for. There are all kinds of reasons a person doesn't get a promotion; whining is one.

I think the picture is just what I would expect Winifred to look like.
