Tic, Tock, Boom!

                                                                            

                                    There's a bomb in my shorts,

 

Well, not my shorts for real, as I'm not wearing--,

 

Forget that, please, I just said that to keep your attention!

 

My point is that every time you turn around,

 

"Boom!", life explodes in your face,

 

Sending shards of your hopes in every direction

 

And unlike a real bomb, you can't just call

 

The Bomb Squad, no, with this one,

 

You're on your own!

I laughed at this one. It's quaint and comical but it makes a good point. I can now refer to my friends and family as a collective Bomb Squad, as they help me deal with the more explosive qualities of life; thank you for that.
