The Man That Time Won't Forget!A Poem by Michael StevensSometimes, I wish I were invisible!![]() You know, I
hear some people complain that, "Time forgot me!"
Well, I can only wish I had that problem, no, time not only remembers
me, But clubs me
upside the head, and keeps bashing
Until I beg
for mercy, but a lot of good that does
me
S**t piles
upon s**t until life is one huge pile!
And here is me, without my hardhat
for at least some protection
bad happening after bad happening
build up and join
Their buddies on top of a s**t
tower, until the weight becomes too much,
And from time to time, they
collapse and fall on me,
Leaving me no choice but to tunnel
my way to the surface.
Where I can breath fresh air, at
least until the whole vicious
Tower of s**t-building begins again!
