Kangapotumous

Kangapotumous

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

An undiscovered species!

"

We, the men of science, have discovered, deep in the

Rain forests of Australia, a creature long thought

Not only extinct, but laugh-out-loud ludicrous, the Kangapotumous

We're members of a forgotten scientific body, the 'Well

I'll Be F****d, Would You Look At That!' Society, or the

'WIBFWYLAT! Society', dedicated to finding the 'Ain't No Way

Is That a Species' species--well, we did find it when the you'll

Ridiculed us as pathetic science-losers--well, we not only found it,

But managed to take several photos, totally un-retouched,

So suck it, scientific, stick-up-your-a*s, too-good-for-everyone-else

I think I'm the only one to see them, shame, really, as they're beautiful creatures!
Well, science is always discovering something new. What I would like to see is that creature hopping.
