For a Rainy DayA Poem by Michael StevensThe importance of saving your nuts!![]() If you're expecting real poetry, this ain't it! ****** I'm Silicone the Squirrel, and I'm
planning ahead, for future days to ensure that I'm
fed.
I'm moving my nuts to a place more
secure, for a future rainy day when they
disappear.
Now, you may laugh at my mouth full
of nuts, well, I'll have the last laugh, no
if, and, or buts.
While you'll stay just a skinny-a*s
rodent, I planned ahead--yes, quite
brilliant!
Stored in a warm, dry place, my
nuts won't go bad They'll be the tastiest nuts I've
ever had.
While I'm savoring the taste,
you'll be going down, Until you'll be about the skinniest
squirrel around.
You're always in a hurry, it's
'now, now, now!' You'll wish you planned ahead,
somehow.
Don't try touching my nuts, don't
you dare, cause these babies, I'll never
share!
