If The Future's So Bright, ...

If The Future's So Bright, ...

A Poem by Michael Stevens

So much for needing shades, I need a fricking lantern,

cause I can't see jack out here--we've got problems!

After I helped Jack up, because I didn't see him,

and plowed right over his a*s, I took a good look around,

and I must say, the state of the union is bleak!

What must the rest of the world be thinking,

when they witness the 3-ring circus of our politics?

Clowns literally lining up to embarrass themselves.

Grab the popcorn and enjoy the show from now

until it starts all over in 6 years--oh joy!

6 years, hell, the day after the 2016 election!
