Perspective

Sometimes I forget

                                                  

I done lost perspective,

can't see the forest for the trees.

So caught up in the negatives,

The positives slipped right on by.

 

I'm free to b***h and moan,

and skewer joke politicians.

That very fact makes us unique.

Well, it's not unique, but it's quite rare.

 

I'm just glad I live in such a system.

It's far from perfect, but it's still

the best thing going!

Freedom is precious, and we have it, and I'm gladd you can still see that.

Yeah, someone reminded me that even with all of the sideshow aspects of our politics, we still have the freedom to say what we hate about it!
