Got the Sunday Blahs One Day Early!

This is insanity!

                                                      

My, my, lucky me, I'm sitting here on a Saturday afternoon,

and the color gray whitewashes all I see.

Just more of the same, everything seems to be a downer,

nothing on the news, but word of yet-another shooting spree.

 

Anymore, I just know nothing's ever going to change

when it comes to guns, cause of the powerful gun lobby.

We've no common sense, can't keep guns out of the deranged

person's hands--what a bloodthirsty hobby.

 

So, as I sit here trying to type away my frustration,

it doesn't seem to be working--it only gets worse.

Smirking gun lobbyists who yell the loudest,

are putting the status quo instead of the victims first.
