A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Loss

"

From this day forward, if I called, no one would answer,

and now your home stands like a whispered shadow,

Grandma, it's going to be strange, no longer seeing

your face, no longer hearing your voice, you've just

always been there, but those days are gone.
I'm sad for myself but I'm happy for you, as you

were anything but happy to be hanging around.

And so I'll just bid you bon voyage--I love you.

A lovely tribute to your grandmother. I'm sure she hasn't forgotten you.
