No Reason Why

Verse:

You see it on the news, another homegrown killing field

created by the greed and indifference of a political creed

that puts money ahead of flesh and blood, shame on you

Politicians with no souls, ah, you're the privileged few

Pre-Chorus:

You sit up in you're ivory tower,

trade away lives, cause you've got power

Verse:

Meanwhile, in the real world, we face the gun every day

Indiscriminate death is a fact of life, yet we hear you say

"There's nothing I can do,' and sweep it out of sight

empty words--can't you hear us scream, "something's not right."

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Chorus:

No Reason Why, except your blind and willful greed

While you do nothing, our blood is flowing in the street

No Reason Why--we watch your blind eyes turn away

We're tired of more slogans, and the empty words you say

Verse:

Clock strikes twelve in this unfeeling battle zone

While you ignore and pretend, another life is gone

While you stuff their blood money in your pocket,

another in an endless line, is stuffed into a casket

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Repeat Chorus:

End
