Hate Days A Week!

What? What is this, my weekly drubbing?

Time once again for my flying-time clubbing?

I'm going to heave watching the day's go by in a blur.

I'll get calendar-sick; paying the piper, at thousands per

day--I'm telling you, the days are a vicious gang--

not one at a time, they all beat on me, and harangue

me--I tell you, they don't leave me time to even catch

my breath, they're passing so fast--me against them is a total mismatch,

it's not even a bout, it's not a fight--they wipe the floor

with my face, a lopsided route--with my screaming, and blood galore

My eyes go cross, I'm suffering from whiplash

trying to follow their passing, and then they suddenly turn, and bash

me over the head--guess I need to learn speed-reading,

or it's medical care that I'll soon be needing,

that is if the hospital even serves the elderly.

So you see, it's really them verses me!

So it's hate days a week--'hate' is their gangs' name

I need someone to blame why I'm losing the game!
