I've had a lot of fun making fun of Donald Trump, and let's face it, there's so much material, but there's nothing funny about his latest bullshit statement. What the hell is he trying to do? I'm appalled at this man's ugly, hateful rhetoric, but I can't help wondering if he is trying to hand the election to Clinton, which is fine by me. I mean, what else would explain his advocating a hatred and distrust of an entire religious group? It almost seems like he's saying, "How many outrageous things do I have to say, before you realize I'm not a serious candidate?" to himself. Surely, he must have known this would cause a firestorm. He's probably laughing at how foolish his supporters are. If not, and he actually believes this is the way to go to get the nomination, he's even dumber than it appears, and as much as I dislike him as a political candidate, I don't believe he's stupid. Heartless, yes, a blowhard, yes, an egotistical jerk, yes, but not stupid, although if he believes this is the way to the white house, I'll have to rethink that. He's running the Hitler playbook, almost word-for-word. When I first heard the Hitler reference, I thought that was a bit hysterical, but, I was wrong. It's entirely accurate. Divide, blame all our problems on somebody else, and take power, except I think he's made a terrible blunder, at least I hope he has, for if he can spew this hateful rhetoric, and use it to win, I tremble for the future of us all!
