Digging a Hole--Jumping In!

Digging a Hole--Jumping In!

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Those moments!

"
Ah, those red-faced moments we all share,

like walking in on the in-laws while wearing no underwear.

Long story, but my point is a valid one,

we've all done something that we wished we hadn't done,

or said, mostly said, at least it's that way for me.

Others hear something better left unsaid, or they see

something you wish they hadn't seen--they still make you cringe,

things who's memory almost causes you to come unhinged.

You just have to laugh, I guess, there ain't no changing the past.

You'll just drive yourself crazy, and like Eeyore, you'll be always downcast!
