The Inappropriate Shuffle!A Poem by Michael StevensA new dance!
Hey, kids, want to tell you about a new craze, a dance based on an another inappropriate phrase
that you spouted, and let there be no doubt, you'll rack you tiny brain for some kind of way out.
And, like another activity, you can do this one alone, if you, like me, run your mouth and are prone
to saying stupid s**t in an effort to appear clever and witty. When, in fact, you've crossed that line and veered into s****y.
Just put your left foot in, you pull your left foot out, then you speak on autopilot and chow down on your right, when
you finally realize what you've said--when you finally get a clue. That is if you're not too stupid, and never fricking do!
Then the Inappropriate Shuffle morphs into The Panic, you know the dance that begins when you get that sick,
gut-wrenching feeling, as you try to find a way to explain what you actually meant--what can you say
that explains your dip-shittedness away? If you've arrived at this dance, you're covered in a sweaty sheen, cause you strived
to think so hard, too hard, you really ought to sit down, and all because you said too much, and languagely screwed around!
