Sea of Doom!

Sea of Doom!

A Poem by Michael Stevens

Verse:

An open beer, the shining sun reflecting off the waves,

belies this peaceful scene--how this one fish behaved.

It should have been the ultimate relaxation technique,

unfortunately for me, I hooked a nightmare--I hooked a freak!

Pre-Chorus:

It has lived for centuries in the murky deep.

When I got a look at it, 'what the beep?'

Verse:

The clock struck midnight when this b***h struck.

I reeled it in, but I wouldn't have, if I known it would suck!

Even now, the thought of this nightmare makes me retch.

Yeah, on my corneas, this b*****d from Hell is etched!

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Chorus:

Don't go trolling in the Sea of Doom,

because it lives down there in its watery room.

If you disregard this heartfelt advice,

hope you can cut the line quick, or you'll pay the price!

Verse:

Has the head of a modern fish, but its body is prehistoric.

Yeah, the head is tiny, but the body's gigantic!

Every single reel could well be your last.

Start the motor, radio for help, and get out of there, fast!

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Repeat Chorus:

End
