Common sense takes over!

Verse:

 

Straight from my heart, onto the page,

I poured out my ire, I poured out my rage.

 

I pull no punches, I tell it like I see it,

but when I reread it, I realize it's s**t!

 

Pre-Chorus:

 

My internal good-sense filter kicks in,

other than my anger, this b***h is mighty thin!

 

Verse:

 

It felt good, it felt right at the time of writing,

but I realized my self-control I was fighting.

 

After perusing, I saw that to post it was folly,

to rant and rave, and fire my hate-filled volley!

I took it down quick, because it sounded so conceited.

'Has Been Deleted' is par for the course, and my too-often story.

A window on my vanity, and judgment in all it's glory!

Too often, I don't stop to think over my instant reaction,

my knee-jerk takage of criticism may bring me satisfaction,

but I know it's stupid, and will be a knife in the heart

to the recipient--this verbal broadside that tears them apart!
