Never

Never

A Story by Michael Stevens
"

Trump's playbook for victory!

"
Verse:

If you don't want to appear weak, never apologize,
not if you want to appear larger than average guys.
If you have no clue, lash out like a teen.
If you don't know what to say, pretend that you mean

Pre-Chorus:

everything you say, even if it's not what you said yesterday.
The kind of voter I'm after won't know the difference, anyway.

Verse:

The six words I hate to hear are, 'let's go to the video tape!
If it wasn't for that, I could make good my escape.
I come across as ruthless, and quite a mean-a*s bully,
even though I don't understand anything like I should, fully!

Repeat-Pre-Chorus:

Chorus:

Some say I'll win this election, "Never!"
I'm not handsome, and I sure ain't clever.
In fact this comb-over obscures my lack of brains.
If I'm to win, I'll have to scream if I hope to reign

Verse:

Just bulldoze over those who'd stand in you way,
just steamroll those b*****s with the things you say.
Ridicule, and ridicule, are the only arrows in my quiver.
Proposals that sound good, but I'll have no chance to deliver.

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Repeat Chorus:

End
