A little ditty about what's going on!

Part of the country's gone stark raving mad.

Yes, how else to describe millions donning knee pads

 

so they can be more comfortable while kissing Trump's a*s?

First and foremost in line's the media--they put them on so fast.

They're in bed with the devil incarnate,

who does his best to infuriate!

It's as good an explanation as any other,

every time you turn around, he's spouted yet-another

 

jaw-dropping, bit of face-noise from the hole

that occupies the bloated head connected to his soul.

Those who back him, and those who cringe at the sound

of his screeching voice, as he spouts another ignorant thought.

Let's face it, human or presidential, this clown is not!

For some of us, the idea of thinking has gotten kind of hazy.

 

We'd better wake up, or we'll sleepwalk right of the edge,

and our national panic will become full-fledged!

Have you seen any of the recent polls? Not too many are kissing his a*s. It's a very tiny part these days.

But your poem paints a picture of him doing well with the majority of the population, that's just not true and hasn't been close to true in over a month. It's not a picture of what's going on, at all. The wheels have been falling off his campaign for the past 3 plus weeks, he can't raise money, he's infighting with his own party leaders, and many of the traditional donors aren't giving him anything. Your poem is very misleading. Also, the importance of the subject is inflated and sensationalized, much like you criticized the media's handling of the same subject and much like the subject likes to do with himself. Misleading and hypocritical.... bad traits.

It might not represent what's really going on, and I think you're right, the wheels have come off his candidacy, but you'd be hard-pressed to know that if the media's concerned. It behooves them to make the race sound close, so they keep the viewers interested, and sell more air time. The reality of the situation is not really being reported.
