Electronic Not

Electronic Not

A Story by Michael Stevens
"

The dark time when you're computer-less!

"

Verse:

Groping blind and upset in Electronic Land,

cut off from society, and it was more than I could stand.

Such slender threads tether you to the world,

all around me, anger and worry swirled.

Pre-Chorus:

Helplessness is the sensation.

Can’t seem to vent my frustration.

Verse:

No way to let anyone know what’s going on,

For all they know, you’re just gone.

An empty space where your thoughts used to be.

Where your writing was, there’s nothing to see.

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Chorus:

You hit the switch and it’s Electronic Not!

Keeping a cool head takes more than you’ve got.

Suddenly, night has fallen on your normal routine.

Despair fills your soul, and darkness fills the screen.

Repeat 1st Verse:

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Repeat Chorus:

End
