First Light, Not Right!

When I see it, 'doh!'

I tell myself to wait until after the crack of dawn

to post something new, but apparently, my listening is gone,

for I went ahead and posted a new poemy-deal,

and, after coffee, reread it, and what I saw was unreal.

'How to make yourself sound pathetic, one-oh-one,’

Now I’m looking for a way out--my gaffe to be undone,

for you could drive a truck through my gaping stupidity.

‘First Light, Not Right’ is good advice for a fool such as me!
