This, in a nutshell, illustrates how impossible the divide is between the parties. Democrats rail against the un-justness of slavery, and the Republicans argue that they were well-treated. It's a worldview in which the gulf between them is immense, and until we can see out of the same set of eyes, not one of our many disagreements will be solved, and NOTHING will change!"
