Should've seen it coming

Watched it come on for many miles,

rolling disaster after many denials.

Many voters with the mistaken belief

that dangerous rhetoric equals commander-in-chief.

Now that the train has jumped the track,

it's much to late to ever go back.

Should have seen this coming, you were warned,

but you disregarded the warnings, sneered and scorned.

This Slow Motion Train Wreck was so easy to see,

you fell for a scam artist, and this disaster just had to be.
