Out of Control Fox Beast

Out of Control Fox Beast

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

He must be stopped, but can he!

"
Created in a time of suspicion and fear,

The beast, despite being less than sincere,

picked up many followers who believed in him.

He ran on a platform of skewered patriotism.

This beast was much less than smart,

but he made that up as he tore conventional apart.

He fed off the adulation of millions of hardcore believers,

who were only a small, but loud, minority of deceivers,

who deceived the beast into confusing loud with a majority.

The beast would only hear their ringing cheers, and couldn't see

There was a bigger forest out there besides these trees,

and it was the bigger forest who's hearts he needed to seize.

He could only win over the home crowd, who lived in Fox's bubble.

And before he is done, he'll reduce politics to rubble!
