What NOT to say!

Just a quick refresher course

on what not to do to reinforce

the trepidation a writer feels

when viewing them there reviewer deals

on something they've posted on this site,

a review that's sure to make them want to fight.

It's perfectly alright to respectfully disagree

with the premise, but it's quite another to be

rude, and rip the writing apart,

words can be a dagger right to the heart

Don't make the author feel like a dick,

like a clueless writer, a literary hick.

If you disagree, maybe say nothing at all?

There's no need to get angry and personal,

and lash out at the author, there's a polite way to say it

without running the author down, that there's total bullshit!
