NEVER Trust Anyone Who...

A Story by Michael Stevens
"

Still-another reason

"
If I could stand him, or agreed what he stands for, I still wouldn't like him, for one simple reason: the man is utterly incapable of laughing at himself. He has no problem laughing at others, but crack a joke at his expense, and he's already plotting, in that thought-challenge, warped brain of his, a way to lash out and get revenge on you. He may have a tough-talking attitude, but he has tissue paper-thin skin. Anyone remember the White House Correspondents Dinner a few years back? When President Obama made a few jokes at his expense, His stone-face, and not even a smile, told the whole story, the man was livid.

That right there is a deal-breaker for me. It shows a totally-insecure little man with an inflated vision of his own importance. Anyone with the inability to laugh at themselves in no way should be entrusted to make decisions for the rest of us. After four years of him, we'll probably lose our sense of humor, too, provided the country can make it that far!
