Ill Wind Blowing

Ill Wind Blowing

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Dire forecast

"
It rustles though the trees, scattering fallen leaves.

It's quite calm now, but it's a picture to deceive.

There's a storm on the horizon, seek shelter from the

storm.

If you were told it would be sunny, you were badly

misinformed.

There's an ill and dangerous wind that will soon be

blowing,

forget what you believed, forget what you always

thought you were knowing,

it's a storm that stretches across the entire shattered

world,

pushing hate and distrust before it, no one saw it, and

chaos will occur.

Came out of nowhere, and demanded our attention

and radar screens.

So far right, I hope I'm wrong, but I think I know what

it means.

It means world wide turbulence, and global disarray.

I see what's coming, but there's nothing I can do or

say.
