Ruby Tuesday

The day after Monday!

'Goodbye, Ruby Monday, Eeyore Day's over for 

another week!'

It's like The Gods Of The Calendar have turned the 

other cheek,

and taken pity on us long-suffering human wrecks, 

and graced

us with Ruby Tuesday, but soon enough, they will 

have raced

through time and space, and the page will say '

Eeyore Day' again.

The Gods must enjoy a good joke--'cause they're 

certainly comedians.

But, Eeyore day is over, Ruby Tuesday is here, and 

reigns supreme,

time to enjoy the fact that Eeyore Day done run out 

of steam.

True it's not quite Hump Day, but the Humping's 

within sight,

that Eeyore's in the rear view mirror is why I done 

write

this here ditty--now, before all you jargon-sticklers 

say that's not proper

English, I know, but I made it rhyme, didn't I? A 

rhyming couplet, as it were! (sort of!)
