The Talking Heads: Once In A Lifetime':

And you may find yourself
Living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself
In another part of the world
And you may find yourself
Behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house
With a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself, well
How did I get here?

Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground

And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!

Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground

Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was

Water dissolving and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Under the water, carry the water
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!

Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again in the silent water
Under the rocks, and stones there is water underground

Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground

And you may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go to?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right? Am I wrong?
And you may say yourself, "My God! What have I done?"

Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again in to the silent water
Under the rocks and stones, there is water underground

Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground

Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Look where my hand was
Time isn't holding up
Time isn't after us
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was

Letting the days go by (same as it ever was)
Letting the days go by (same as it ever was)
Once in a lifetime
Letting the days go by--letting the days go by

NOT The Talking Heads: 'One Is Too Many!'

And you may find yourself obsessed with Dump,

giving us the equivalent of a doggy leg hump

A lot of action, but accomplishing zero

Reality's burning, but just fiddling from Nero

And you may find yourself just along for the ride,

with drunk Uncle Dumper as you're driver and guide

Too scared to jump out, yet too scared to go on

Just praying that somehow, the gas will soon be gone

'cause that's the only way this f****r's gonna stop

Oh, please, where the hell's a cop?

Let us survive somehow, the clock is running down

Let us survive somehow, his lies the only sound

Into reality again, after all his latest s**t

One is too many, give us someone who is fit

How did drunk Uncle Dump end up driving?

And you may soon be asking, how about surviving?

This has got to be a joke, surely?

Who's Shirley, and hope he resigns prematurely

Head's exploding from all the crazy tweets

Oh God, here comes more, the insanity repeats

Under his thumb, and squirming to break free

'Uncle Dumper, I'm afraid of what's to be!

Let us survive somehow, the clock is running down

Let us survive somehow, his lies the only sound

Into reality again, after all his latest s**t

One is too many, give us someone who is fit

Insane as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Look where my hand was?
Down my pants, your likeness wasn't up

Time isn't the friend to us
Time is after us
Insane as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become

And you may ask yourself

"what's happened to the white house?"

and you may tell yourself,

"S**t, we're governed by Mickey Mouse!"

Let us survive somehow, the clock is running down

Let us survive somehow, his lies the only sound

Into reality again, after all his latest s**t

One is too many, give us someone who is fit

Let us survive somehow, the clock is running down

Let us survive somehow, his lies the only sound

Into reality again, after all his latest s**t

Once is too many, give us someone who is fit

And you may ask the nation, "what the f***?"

Now, to survive, "We'll need some luck!"

And you may ask yourself

"what's happened to the white house?"

and you may tell yourself,

"S**t, he governs so Mickey Mouse!"

And you may give into despair

And you may be thinking 'buyer beware!'

Insane as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Look where my hand was?
Down my pants, your likeness wasn't up

Time isn't the friend to us
Time is after us
Insane as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become
Same as it has become

Another day goes by go by (same as it has become)

Another day goes by (same as it has become)
Once in a lifetime
is one time too many--is one too many!
