'The Idiot Who Cried 'Chicken!'
A Poem by Michael Stevens
Or, cried something like that!
There once was a leader of the free world, who gave his all to every lie he hurled
out among the teeming masses. He told so many whoppers, only the asses
who were deaf, dumb, and blinded by Kool-Aid bought any of it, who couldn't see why
he would do that, they took him at face value, all the impossible s**t he had promised to do.
They'll be waiting one hell of a long time, He lies so often, it ought to be a crime.
But we're the ones who have to suffer the fool, I'm telling you, something stinks like an open cesspool.
The damage he's doing to our once-proud presidency is one we'll never live down, if we ever manage to get free.

Both candidates were such notorious liars, as a lot of politicians are. Despite my neutrality in the election (and politics in general), I liked the flow of this poem and it gave me a chuckle. I have faith in America as well as our president that things will be brighter than before. Great job!

V., and asking us to believe ONLY his version of the truth, which is what dictators do. He's trying to undermine the truth itself.

Although, he's nowhere near a dictator and it's clear that he has a big issue with articulating his points, showing him to be brash and untrustworthy. Still, they both are... Well, "unlikely" people to really rule. But, all of this hate is only strengthening tensions in the country. Shouldn't we be united rather than remaining bitter about the outcome? I'm not calling you bitter, just others who can't move on. As much as some people don't want Trump, if we want to see better days then we support our leader. I was not a fan of Obama, or any candidate, but I still supported him as a leader. You don't have to like someone to wish them success. Who knows what Trump will do; I don't wish the worst. Otherwise, it would be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Although, I really understand you. Hopefully, I didn't seem rude!

I'd love to be able to show him some respect, but he hasn't done one thing to earn any. There's been several presidents that I haven't liked in the past, but that's because I've disagreed with their policies, quite vehemently in some cases, but I never felt they were unfit for office, and dangerous as a person. Believe it or not, until Dumper here, I've never been so vocal in my disagreement, but I feel that this man is far more dangerous than anyone we've elected before.
