Words Of Doom

Words Of Doom

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

'doh!'

"
Like it or not, sometimes you say

just the wrong thing, and it's 'call it a day!'

Pack up the tent, 'thanks for playing!'

hoof-in-mouth disease, if you know what I'm

saying?

A long time ago, I woke up on the wrong side

of reality,

and the results? Well, let's just say, they were

not pretty.

To be fair, I was thinking with half my brain

tied behind my back,

but never the less, I found myself stretched

on the rack.

But, sometimes, no matter how much you

regret it, and wish it wasn't so,

there's certain lines you do not cross, certain

subjects are a 'no!'
