"Come On In, The Kool-Aid's Fine!"

"Come On In, The Kool-Aid's Fine!"

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

I just don't understand

"
This is a collaboration between Hullaballo22 and myself:

I just don't get it; why you'd think

The Big Dump's doing a fine job, that drink

you've had must be powerful stuff.

I think you'd better lay off it, you've had enough.

That Kool-Aid causes delusion and blindness,

I really feel sorry for you, such sadness.

You've had so much, you're able to justify and

overlook

anything, even his ignorant, angry teenager play book

You are parroting bigotry, and you’re going back in

time;

women have equality, male supremacy’s a crime.

Intolerance and ignorance, is that what you desire --

where everything is slanted and the lies, they never

tire?

That stuff that is in your glass, the one that you are

drinking,

must be a destroyer of any rational thinking.
