Damned If They Do....

To televise or not to televise?

I was one of those people who was calling for the Trump trial to be televised. Let America see and hear all of the evidence against him. But after an overzealous Trump supporter made spacific threats against President Biden and another man's life in Utah and was shot and killed by the secret service, I may have been hasty in my opinion.

Because they've been told lies and believe those lies told by Trump himself, seeing their hero on trial will send some of his supporters into an angry frenzy, and judging by our recent past we aren't dealing with open-minded, reasonable citizens here.

I've heard the opinions of people on each side of the issue, that in the name of transparency it needs to be televised, or, the threat against Biden shows that under no circumstances should it be. What to do?
