My very ever first haiku wat do you think

 

The rain falls down hard,

always sings to me in sleep,

Music to my ears.

I wrote a haiku. it was easier than i thought it would be but it was still hard to fit the 5 ,7 ,5 pattern

It's great. It actually sounds a lot more like a true haiku than any of the ones I write. The subject is very traditional. It's beautiful!

The word arrangement is a bit clunky and harsh (i.e. the second line's sentence order was a bit awkward even for a haiku), but over all it's very good for a first try, and pretty darn good in general.
