A Little Room to Breath

A Little Room to Breath

A Poem by Bo Lanier

I don't know why it is when you really don't have much to say

People ask you well what wrong honey you’ve been awfully is

Quiet today. Well did they ever stop to think that maybe you've

Just got a lot on your mind and you can't even seem to think

Straight 'cuz they just rattle on and on...you just wanna scream

Would you please just shut up and leave me alone...

Nobody can be upbeat and the social butterfly all the time, no

Sometimes everybody just needs a little quiet time, time to reflect

Relax and unwind, so would you just go read a book or something

Nobody feel like hearing the same ole thing all the time, day after

Day, this doesn't mean you ain't loved but good Lord would you

Please just go away...

Well and I don't know why it is when you're not in the mood

Every freakin' night, you’re having an affair and getting it

Somewhere else, you just wanna pull your hair out and throw

Seething hard at them but you're really just too tired to fight and

You just wanna shake them and say don't you know there's more

Than that to life and if you don't think there is could you please

Go and just take care of yourself, I’m not in the mood, and I’m really

Just not in the mood tonight...

Everybody needs a little alone time, A LITTLE ROOM TO BREATH

Some peace and quiet, some peace of mind from time to time and

A LITTLE ROOM TO BREATH!
