Something Special

Something Special

A Poem by Bo Lanier

Well just because you're 14 years older than me

Doesn’t matter much to me, we got SOMETHING

SPECIAL that doesn't grow on trees, you’re

Always buying me things and going without

Just to make me happy...

I know sometimes I can be a pain in the you

Know what to say the least but then again

Sometimes so can you but neither of us ever

Hold any grudges 'cuz neither of us are fools

We’ve invested too much time and made too

Many beautiful memories to let the little

Anything come between you and me...

As you once said you've gotten under my skin

But in all the good ways even if you do live

A few hundred miles away I know someday

We will be together every day and live happily

Ever after oh my love, my friend, my lover so...

So what if you're 14 years older than me

We got SOMETHING SPECIAL that doesn't

Grow on trees, there’s just a certain kinda magic

Between you and me and SOMETHING SPECIAL

Hard to find, hard to believe!
