Bluebird

Bluebird

A Poem by Bo Lanier

Morning sun a shining, wind chimes a chiming and
Bluebird a singing outside my open window on the old
Dog Wood tree well it brings a smile to my face as I
greet the coming day... life is beautiful
and we should hold onto that thought especially when
we find ourselves in a blue and broken hearted way
thank you Bluebird so graceful and free, Thank you
Bluebird for giving me a new sense of sweet serenity
then you fly up to my window seal and tenderly caw as
if to say you are loved and God watches over you just
as surely as he watches over me and we're not that
different, you and me...if you believe that faith can
move mountains you can set your spirit free...well
thank you Bluebird so lovely and carefree I said as a
smile crossed my face and all my fears vanished into
Heavenly release without a trace now I can't wait to
spread the love you have reawaken in me well I know it
was like some kind of divine intervention and not a
mistake...thank you Bluebird of early morning daybreak
thank you Bluebird, beautiful, beautiful Bluebird!
