In this life we are all exposed to strife
Pages written long ago was to help us know
We were meant for love on this planet but we
created, was chaos unabated
In our sins is where it begins

 

Truth is ignored and Lust is adored
Love has been lost, now only Anger scores
Courage is slim, Envy has taken over him
Wisdom comes not in time, only Greed fills the minds
Creativity is low because Sloth has all the control
Tolerance does not stand, Gluttony is in almost every man
Freedom does not ring, only Pride of money is seen

 

That is our lives
Sins win over virtues in any given century
