Numb the Pain

Cut open my chest
rip out my heart
shut out the world
I don't want to feel anymore

Gasp for air
tears roll down my cheek
scream out loud
nobody gives a dang

Turn out the lights
unplug the phone
let your mind go blank
numb the pain

NO! I'm not gonna sit back
not gonna take this
if you don't like it
 don't  pay attention

I don't care anymore
I've had enough
you can't control me anymore
I'll never get up
