I'm alive. What more should I say?
I'm alive, waiting for the day
Until then, I'm lost in this thought
How many battles have I actually fought?

How many times have I spilled my heart?
Who exactly was there from the start?
Am I afraid of not having affection?
Or is it just a simple reflection?

Nothing to do but let the night sink
The only time I find time to think
As I lay this verse, as a second goes,
I still don't know this path I chose

Am I supposed to be happy?
Or should I let these feelings damn me?
I can't answer these questions
I guess I'm not so smart after all
