Fallen Through The Cracks

Fallen Through The Cracks

A Poem by Dylan Cook

Some people have fallen through the cracks

They can't seem to find their own way back

They end up drinking beer or smoking crack

They have lost their way and are way off track

I was one of those but only did beer and pot

Now I don't do those and am glad for what I've got

I could have gotten killed and could have gotten shot

But I was lucky and got back what I had only lost

Some people have fallen through the cracks

They can't seem to find their own way back

They end up drinking beer or smoking crack

They have lost their way and are way off track

I am forever thankful each and every day

To my higher power for showing the way

For giving me the right things to do and say

I want to do the same for those who lost their way

Some people have fallen through the cracks

They can't seem to find their own way back

They end up drinking beer or smoking crack

They have lost their way and are way off track
