The other side of my eye lids

This poem is about where my dreams take me at night

I woke up but I wanted to go back to sleep
back to my dream
my eyes realized reality
a place I wanted to disappear
So I closed my eyes and wished for the other side of my eye lids
The place where all my dreams come true
The place I anticipate every night
The other side of my eye lids
The other side of my eye lids capture my inner feelings
my peace
my comfort
my heart
Though sometimes they put me in a scary place, I can always count on God to pull me out
