I'll miss you

How a young teen feels about her mother

 

We we’ve been together forever

There have been good times

As well as bad times

You were taken from me too early

Just 16 years was all we had

Now I stare at your lifeless body

You are no longer in pain

But now I am,

It’s hard to say goodbye

You were my friend

But most of all

You were my mother

Wow.. so sad.. emotions are probably hard to define in words but you can do no wrong when writing from the heart.. my heart goes out to you as a mom.. loosing a mother is a great loss.. writing is a great way to express yourself and may go along way helping you cope.. many will relate to this that have lost a mom.. she is clearly in a better and more peaceful place and my condolences go out to you! Embrace all those great moments and hold her image high.. thank you for sharing.. keep writing it's sooo good for the soul!!! =)

It's simple, but it carries a lot of emotion. It made me sad; I can't imagine losing my mother.
