Welcome (Poem)A Poem by Mr.WriterMy hearts pounding My hands are trembling White light beams right at my face, forcing me to continuously twitch I try to move but the searing pain in my stomach stops me I take deep breaths, but they aren`t deep enough It`s as if I`m in a ocean, struggling to swim and stay alive. I groan as a scalpel cuts right through my stomach Please kill me... My finger nails cut through the bed-sheets Sweat drenches the whole bed Soon, a tiny baby comes out He wails and wails! I sigh in relief, as I finally pass the difficult part As soon as he stops wailing, his marble eyes look at me. They`re as delicate as a diamond I pass a kiss on his cheek ``Welcome baby Ahmed, my radiant and celestial child.`` © 2017 Mr.WriterReviews
